Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mix of extraordinary and slightly underwhelming experiences. The rooms, although beautifully decorated and clean, had some minor drawbacks, like a firm bed that could benefit from a softer topper. The service provided by the knowledgeable and attentive staff was commendable. The location, atop Florence with stunning views, was truly remarkable. The dining experience, while offering a good variety, could use some improvements to match the overall luxurious feel of the place.
The hotel surpassed some expectations with a luxurious bed and thoughtful amenities, yet fell short in other aspects like the need for room upgrades and mirror additions. The location offers historical charm and peaceful surroundings, but may not suit those seeking a city center experience. The dining experience had its highlights but could use improvement in quality and variety. Overall, a mixed experience with notable upsides and downsides.
Staying at this hotel was like a hymn dedicated to Firenze, celebrating art in all its forms. The suite was spacious, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children, offering breathtaking views over Florence. The historical house has been impeccably maintained, boasting an enormous fireplace and elegant armoire.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful service, and a unique location. However, the dining experience had some limitations. The facilities were well-maintained, offering a pleasant overall stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of exceeding expectations and falling slightly short. The room was spacious with a soft mattress topper that added comfort, but the bed itself was a bit firm. The suite, perfect for a family, offered stunning views of Florence and was rich in history and style, boasting five fireplaces of different eras and beautiful wood paneling.
When it comes to this hotel, the view facing Florence below from the room with a huge window is simply breathtaking. Climbing the steps to the city may be challenging for older guests, but the view is worth it. The service was attentive, coming to check on us at dinner time. The location, surrounded by blissful elements like a running stream and donkeys, is unique and fantastic. Dining had a good selection of options, but the outdoor location was a bit challenging due to pigeons. The hotel facilities are top-notch, making for a memorable stay.
